Luke is an award winning fashion stylist and educator with a foundation in fashion styling, creative direction and image-making, bringing together industry experience across editorial, commercial advertising, retail, and higher education.
Professional experience includes creative advertising work at Rankin Ltd. and HUNGER magazine, contributing to campaigns for internationally recognised brands including Coco de Mer, L’Oréal, and Mazda. Additional commercial experience was developed through various roles at retailer COS, refining a strong understanding of luxury retail and contemporary menswear.
Current practice centres on menswear-focused editorial styling, with published work featured in Bricks, The Rakish Gent, Boys by Girls, Imagine, Numéro Netherlands, and other international titles.
Alongside industry practice, a committed Higher Education Lecturer and academic leader since 2020, teaching and leading both BA and MA programmes across the South-West and Central London. Academic achievements include the successful launch of three undergraduate fashion programmes, supporting the development of future creative talent through industry-informed teaching and curriculum design.
Luke’s research practice explores the semiotics of identity, examining how formal ID portraiture can operate both as a creative constraint and a platform for self-expression within an audience-participant framework.
