Luke Tubbs is an award winning stylist and lecturer working across editorial and commercial fashion. Creative and driven fashion stylist and educator with a strong foundation in fashion image-making, visual storytelling, and academic research. My career began at Rankin Ltd. and HUNGER magazine, where I contributed to high-profile campaigns for brands such as Coco de Mer, L’Oréal, and Mazda. This experience shaped my ability to craft compelling visual narratives, further honed through roles in retail visual merchandising and personal styling at COS.

My editorial work has been featured in renowned publications like Bricks, The Rakish Gent, METAL, them., Attitude, HUNGER, Fucking Young!, and many more. Recognised as an emerging talent award winner by Le Book, my styling practice centres on fictional storytelling intersecting theatrical design with contemporary fashion.

In higher education, I have been committed to nurturing future talent since 2020, contributing to the development of the BA (Hons) Fashion Photography course at Bath Spa University and recently leading the newly launched BA (Hons) Fashion Communication & Styling course at the Fashion Retail Academy. My research practice investigates the semiotics of identity, delving into how formal ID portraiture can serve as both a creative constraint and a medium for self-expression. The research interrogates audience perception of self, creating a commentary on social media, AI and traditional portraiture.
